Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made on drafto.store, operated by Orosfort Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Drafto”). This Policy is published in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and Cashfree Payments merchant requirements.
By completing a purchase on drafto.store, you agree to this Policy. Please read it carefully before placing an order.

2. Nature of Products — Why Sales Are Generally Final
All products sold on drafto.store are digital goods — Google Sheets templates and downloadable files delivered electronically. Unlike physical goods, digital products:
- Cannot be physically returned once delivered.
- Are accessible and usable immediately upon delivery of the download link.
- Cannot be “un-consumed” once the file has been opened or copied.
For these reasons, all sales on drafto.store are generally final. However, we maintain a fair and transparent refund process for legitimate cases as described below, in accordance with applicable Indian consumer protection laws.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Before payment
You may abandon or cancel your order at any point before completing payment. No charge will be made. If a payment is initiated but fails, any amount held or debited will be automatically refunded by Cashfree Payments to your source account within 5–7 business days.
3.2 After payment
Once payment is confirmed by Cashfree Payments and the download link or Google Sheets copy link has been delivered to your registered email address, the order cannot be cancelled. The digital product has been electronically supplied and is considered delivered and consumed at that point.
3.3 Before delivery (payment confirmed, link not yet received)
If your payment has been confirmed but you have not yet received the delivery email and you wish to cancel, contact us at contact@drafto.store immediately with your Order ID. We will make every effort to honour such a request before the link is sent. However, if the link has already been dispatched by our system, the cancellation cannot be processed.
4. Eligibility for Refund
4.1 Full refund — guaranteed
You are entitled to a full refund in the following circumstances:
- Non-delivery: You were successfully charged but did not receive the download link within 24 hours, despite having contacted us at contact@drafto.store and allowing us reasonable time to resolve the issue.
- Corrupted file: The file delivered is broken, corrupted, or cannot be opened with the software specified in the product description.
- Wrong product: The product delivered is fundamentally and materially different from what was described and shown on the product page at the time of purchase.
- Duplicate charge: Your account was charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error. The duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
- Erroneous transaction: A technical fault on our platform or Cashfree’s platform caused an incorrect or unintended charge.
4.2 Refunds at our discretion
In the following situations, we will review your request and may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion:
- The product has a significant bug or formula error that materially affects its core functionality, but the file is not entirely unusable.
- An honest and verifiable misunderstanding arose from unclear product description copy that has since been corrected.
These cases will be evaluated individually. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.
4.3 No refund — ineligible cases
Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances, regardless of the reason provided:
- Change of mind after the download link has been delivered or accessed.
- Incompatibility with software, operating systems, or devices not specified in the product description.
- Failure to read the product description, feature list, or system requirements before purchase.
- Dissatisfaction with the product where it functions as described on the product page.
- Customisation requests — our templates are sold as-is. Inability to customise the template to your specific needs does not constitute a defect.
- User error — errors in outputs caused by incorrect data entered by the user into the template.
- Late requests — refund requests submitted more than 7 days after the date of purchase.
- Licence violations — if you have redistributed, resold, or shared the product in violation of the licence terms.
- Fraudulent chargebacks — refunds will not be processed for orders where a chargeback has already been initiated without prior communication with us.
5. How to Request a Refund
5.1 Contact us first
Before raising any dispute with your bank or Cashfree, please contact us directly at contact@drafto.store. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
5.2 Information required
Email contact@drafto.store with the subject line “Refund Request — [Your Order ID]” and include the following:
- Your full name
- Email address used at checkout
- Order ID (provided in your order confirmation email)
- Cashfree Transaction Reference Number
- Name of the product purchased
- Clear description of the issue
- Screenshot or screen recording demonstrating the issue (where applicable)
5.3 Deadline
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase date. Requests submitted after this period will not be entertained, except where required by applicable law.
5.4 Our response
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours of receipt and communicate our decision within 5 business days. If we require additional information or evidence, we will contact you during this period.
6. Refund Processing
6.1 Refund method
Approved refunds are processed via Cashfree Payments back to the original payment source used at checkout. We do not offer cash refunds, bank transfers to a different account, store credits, or refunds to an alternative payment method under any circumstances.
6.2 Processing timelines
After we approve and initiate the refund, the estimated time for the amount to reflect in your account is:
- UPI: 1–3 business days
- Credit card: 5–7 business days
- Debit card: 5–7 business days
- Net banking: 3–5 business days
- Wallets: 1–3 business days
These timelines are governed by Cashfree and the respective banks or payment networks. Delays beyond these timelines are outside our control. If you do not receive your refund within the stated period, contact Cashfree’s support or your bank with the refund reference number we provide.
6.3 Refund confirmation
Once we initiate the refund on our end, Cashfree will send you a refund confirmation notification to your registered email or phone number. You will also receive a confirmation from us.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact us at contact@drafto.store before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
If a chargeback is initiated without prior contact with us and without a legitimate basis, we reserve the right to:
- Dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation.
- Revoke the product licence immediately.
- Block future purchases from the associated account or email address.
- Pursue recovery of any costs incurred due to the fraudulent chargeback.
Cashfree Payments monitors chargeback activity as part of its fraud prevention framework. Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in your payment method being flagged.
8. Failed and Pending Transactions
If your payment fails during checkout, no charge is made to your account. If an amount is debited but the transaction status shows as failed or pending:
- Wait up to 24 hours — most failed transaction refunds are automatically processed by Cashfree within this period.
- If the amount is not credited back within 5 business days, email contact@drafto.store with your transaction reference number and bank statement showing the debit.
- We will coordinate with Cashfree to resolve the issue.
9. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our designated Grievance Officer for refund-related complaints is:

10. Amendments
We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. The Policy applicable to your purchase is the one in effect on the date of your order.
